wages or free gift: the choice is yours

"for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23(nlt)

we are all familiar with the term wages or salary, this is a fixed regular payment made either weekly, daily, monthly or even annually. this is usually paid by an employer to an employee.

every work done on the surface of the earth is been paid for by the employer, when children read their books and sit for an exam, they are paid with good grades. when you do a favour for someone, you receive a thank you at the end of the day. for every work done, a payment is made. when you are employed, you are paid at the end of the month or week as the case may be.

as it applies to the physical, so also is the spiritual...you work for God, he doesnt pay you wages, he gives you a free gift(eternal life through Jesus Christ) and thats the difference. a gift is given at any time, many-a-times when you do not deserve it or even ask for it. you dont have to pay for it because it comes in surprises.

Now the heart of the matter, what type of work are you engaged in? fornication, stealing, lying, adultery, murder(in all its form), cheating and you can name them all. whatever your natural police(conscience) arrests you for? my dear the wages will be received soon. the only thing is that one do not know how soon the wages(death) will be paid. the amazing thing is that many people weren't employed, they nominated themselves and were gladly employed.

What do you expect? Wages or Free gift? (WAGES_fixed regular payment, GIFT_given willingly to someone without payment).

I plead with you who are employed in the company called SIN, resign and be free from the wages to come which is death. don't just stay jobless, come and be employed in GOD's company and begin to enjoy the FREE GIFT which is eternal life. God hasn't given up on you, he just hate your company(SIN)...if you want to be a part of God's company, all that is needed is an application, no interview involved.

I love you all but God loves you more...
