we have lived in a world where there has been a huge discrimination among gender in all areas of life - morally, socially, educationally and a host of others.
thank God for this era of technology where we can say "what a man can do, a woman can do better" as it is commonly said. now, we have women who have risen to great and notable positions in our community, our nation and the world at large.
beyond just circular recognition of feminine worth, there is the spiritual realization of feminine worth. funny as it may seem, the latter encompasses all other classes of feminine worth. "show me a woman that knows her worth in God's standard and i will show you a woman whose worth is inestimable".
in the beginning after God has created all things and man inclusive, he looked and said (Gen 2:18 nkjv) "...it is not good that man should be alone; i will make him a helper comparable to him." there was the beast of the field, the birds of the air, the cattle and all other living creature, but none of these was comparable to him(man). vs 21, God caused a deep sleep to fall on man and from one of his ribs, woman was made.
has it occurred to you that God could have also created woman from the dust of the ground, the same way he created man, instead God made woman out of man's rib. (Note: woman was made/formed) all she needs to be of inestimable worth lives in her. as a result, this points out the important role the feminine gender plays in the masculine world and the entire world we live in.
from the day a girl child is born, she knows her role and importance, it is the little girl that wants to play with the dolls, put the doll at her back just like the mother, cook food in containers, buy things with paper money and all those things you and i did(sure u can remember...lol). when she sees another baby, she wants to carry him/her not minding that they would fall. she is the one that would share her food at school with another, will want you to buy same thing you got for her for a friend.
too bad, some have lost this WORTH just after childhood and some are on the verge of loosing it.
in our next discussion, we would look at - after childhood: does she still have any worth left?
