the holy scriptures and i

at first when i saw this picture, i was so thrilled and i said in my heart "oh how true". i thank God i have the holy bible to guide me and to fall back on. there are situations in life that your spouse or your best friend cannot help you through but just the assurance from the holy scriptures keeps you going.
a lot of verses in proverbs shows the importance of a woman who has the word of God living in her heart and not just her head...most of all proverbs 31 says it all.

the holy scriptures and i
Everyone wants to be the virtuous woman spoken of in the holy scriptures, it does not just come out from the blues. i have read various christian books i have lost count of that deals on relationship, family, marriage and so on, the woman's role is always like the pillar role. we all know what the pillar in any building does, it carries all the load, so also a woman has got all the load to carry.

to make your load lighter and almost insignificant, why not get connected to him who has invited us "come to me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and i will cause you to rest. [i will ease and relieve and refresh your souls]...and my burden is light and easy to be borne." Matt 11:28-30.

there are times, i am down and i cry not even knowing what is wrong with me, but i find real comfort in the word of God. sometimes it is like a part of me is missing, i go on my knees, talk to God like he is right in front of me, my answer always come from the holy scriptures and i find real peace..

there is real and deep comfort in knowing the holy scripture in our heart because its the best companion a woman can have.
